Shelbric A. Fuller

Director

Mr. Fuller has been a triple threat in the PR, entertainment and nightlife arenas for over 15 years. He is the winner of 2 Artistic Achievement Awards in Direction from the University of South Florida, international nightclub DJ and the Producer of over 20 Regional and Off-Off Broadway plays. Summer of 2001, he produced TRIBE (a benefit for Jungle Habitat, Inc.) at Level (New York Times Rated #1 Nightclub in America). Hosted by Lauren Hutton, it featured performances by Martha Wash and DJ/Producers Barry Harris and Chris Cox of Thunderpuss.

The Miami Light Project commissioned Mr. Fuller to direct a 10-minute video of his work in progress, Remembering Things You Never Said, as part of their Miami Inside/Out series. Mr. Fuller wrote a companion piece to Remembering Things… entitled Anything But Happiness. He has written several other plays and performance pieces: Divas: Boys Will Be Girls (w/William Neal), Stigmata, Don’t Go There.com, and Medea: The Meiji Deconstruction.

Some of his New York and Regional stage directorial credits include The Lovers, Beer and Chocolate, The Good Times Are Killing Me, Under Milk Wood, Ohio Impromptu, The Dutchman, Equus, The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me and Death and the Maiden. He also directed The Bald Soprano and Oleanna, which starred Jill Michele-Melean from Mad TV.

In 1998, Shelbric Fuller relocated to New York City to continue his theatrical career pursuits. During this time, he began the Grand Diva Group, a PR and Event company focusing on emerging artists.

In 2004, Shelbric decided to move to Germany. His song, Pop-Up Blocker, is included in the 207 Records (www.207records.com) compilation entitled "Upstate Manhattan". He is also the Producer of "The Politics of Photosynthesis: a Tribute to Stereolab", an international tribute album. The CD is available on ITunes.
